| 대본 정보 | 자막> 제목자막> Magoksa Temple in Gongju a Beautiful Buddhist Temple with Autumn Foliage 글자막> Taehwasan Mountain is famous for its beautiful autumn landscape of colorful foliage. 장소자막> Magoksa Temple A Buddhist temple founded during the Silla Period 글자막> The layout of the buildings of Magoksa Temple is characteristic of Korea traditional aesthetics which favored harmony with the natural environment. Unlike other Buddhist temples, the two entrance gates of this temple are not arranged in a line; this asymmetry increases spatial depth and adds structural beauty to the temple site. There is a bridge over a stream flowing down from a nearby valley. The water flows between the entrance and the main precincts of the temple, as if separating the Buddha`s land from secular society. The temple buildings and stone pagodas create a splendid scene along with the natural beauty of Taehwasan Mountain. 설명자막> Daegwangbojeon Hall of Magoksa Temple, Gongju(Treasure No.802) Five-story Stone Pagoda of Magoksa Temple, Gongju(Treasure No.799) 글자막> The fice-story stone pagoda has a bronze finial ornament which attests to the cultural influence of Lamaism (from the Yuan Dynasty) on Goryeo during its later period.
